Regarding admission

The final notification of the admission results after the second selection round has be communicated on 22 December.

Certain courses will been reopened for late applications on antagning.se on 27 December. Some courses starting in the second half of the spring semester will be open for late applications during 6-20 mars.

Late applicants and applicants placed on the waiting list will receive a notification regarding admission in close proximity to the start of the course.

Regarding teaching in the light of the Corona situation

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the recent new rise in the spread of infection, the government and the Swedish Public Health Agency have decided on new infection control measures starting on 23 December. Lund University is therefore adapting its activities in order to carry out its teaching, research, external engagement and administrative undertakings as safely and responsibly as possible. The University must be prepared for the situation to change rapidly depending on infection rates in the community.

In addition, the Swedish Public Health Agency has issued specific advice for unvaccinated people, as well as recommendations that apply to everyone, such as to maintain social distancing, avoid crowding, and stay at home if experiencing symptoms indicative of Covid-19. Students and staff are urged to stay informed via the websites of the Swedish Public Health Agency and Region Skåne, as well as the University’s Covid-19 web pages on lu.se/corona and lunduniversity.lu.se/corona and to other relevant public authorities.

Teaching and examination will continue to be conducted as planned on University premises if physical gatherings can be managed to ensure social distancing. In cases where sufficient infection control measures cannot be applied, teaching may be conducted digitally with no physical attendance on University premises.

A risk assessment on the risk of spread of infection of Covid-19 will be carried out for every course offered at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences. Further information about how your courses will be conducted is to be published on the course websites.
