Title: Trading S&P

Abstract:

In this talk we will discuss a heuristic perspective on function spaces relating regularity s and integrability p.

We will use this to examine in which spaces we should look for well-posedness of PDEs, and in particular we briefly discuss why the Millennium Prize problem for Navier–Stokes is difficult (https://www.claymath.org/millennium/navier-stokes-equation/).

We rely on examples – thus we will not only trade s for p, but also rigor for fun.
