Welcome to test lectures for a position as Senior Lecturer in Mathematical Statistics (Faculty of Science).

The Division of Mathematical Statistics aims to strengthen existing research groups but also to expand our activities with new theoretical aspects within data science to meet the rapidly growing demand from students and external partners. Furthermore, we see a strong need for method development, teaching, and thesis supervision in areas related to financial or actuarial mathematics.

Test lecture:

Each candidate is asked to present a 20 minutes lecture with the title “Introduction to GARCH type models”.  

Instructions to the candidates: 

The targeted audience is students at master level who are on their 4th year. Assume that the students know basic linear time series analysis. Imagine that the lecture and course continues after the 20 minutes. The objective is for you to demonstrate your pedagogical skills.

The lecture is an open lecture and will be concluded with questions from the audience.
