Abstract:

In general, it is very hard to understand all representations of an (acyclic) quiver. Therefore, we start with certain simple representations and try to obtain new ones by ''gluing'' them together. To further investigate these extensions of a module by another one, we introduce projective representations. These will allow us to give a complete (and computable) description of the extensions.
