The list with all resit examinations in mathematics has been updated with information about the extra resit examinations for courses given during the past academic year, see the file below:fileadmin/maths/Matematik_NF/InfoHt21/SkrivAugusti21Eng.pdf
For all resit examinations you should sign up via the Student portal (Ladok) in the usual manner. The registration opens three weeks before the examination and closes one week before.
The deadline for requesting extra resit examinations for courses given during the past academic year has been 4 June. The students who requested extra resit examinations have been registered for those examinations.
Ordinary resit examinations will be given digitally as planned. Extra resit examinations with few participants may be arranged in the department's premises if both registered students and the teacher responsible for the course prefer it.

- In order to participate in the examination you must have been enrolled in the course.
Written Examinations for Courses in Mathematics, Spring 2021
The updated vice-chancellor's decision from 12 May states that teaching and assessment are to continue to be conducted digitally with no physical presence on the University’s premises according to the conditions referred to in the decision, up to and including 29 August 2021.
Scheduled written re-examinations in August will be conducted digitally. Registration for each regular re-examination scheduled for August will open in Ladok three weeks before the examination date and close one week before this date. Due to the current circumstances, only registered students may participate in the respective re-examination. Updated information about each re-examination will be published on the course website in Canvas one week before the examination, after registration has closed.
Registration for Written Examinations
Ordinary written examinations and resit examinations at the Department of Mathematics at Faculty of Science are anonymised since January 2016. This implies that students are required to register for scheduled written examinations via the Student Portal.
Note that in order to be able to register for the examination you must be or have been enrolled on the course.
You will be assigned an anonymised assessment code, visible to the lecturer marking the examination and used when reporting your results. Note that you will be given the code at the examination by the invigilator.
Registration open for two weeks
The registration for written examinations opens three weeks before the examination and is open for two weeks.
If you missed the opportunity to register, contact the student administrator at the department. You might then be able to attend the written examination if there are places available, without an anonymmised code.
Procedure in brief
- Register for the examination at the Student Portal.
- Your anonymised assessment code is provided at the examination by the invigilator.
- Write your anonymised assessment code and a personal identifier on each submitted sheet.
- The examination will be marked anonymously.
Students with special needs
Candidates entitled to special arrangements for their examinations should, in addition to the registration, get in touch with the Student Office on the fourth floor at least two weeks before the examination. This must be done prior to each written examination they intend to sit including re-sits. They will then be informed about where and when the examination will be held and for how long.
