Stanislav Volkov
Professor of Mathematical Statistics, Deputy Head of Division
Stanislav Volkov received his Diploma in Mathematics and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Moscow State University, and his M.A. and M.Sc. in Economics from New Economics School and University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He worked as postdoctoral fellow in the Fields Institute (Canada) and EURANDOM (Netherlands) before moving to a permanent position in the University of Bristol (UK). Since 2012, he is a Professor of Mathematical Statistics in Lund University.
His research interests include discrete probability, history-dependent random walks, and percolation.
