The honorary prize which is awarded an employee or a group of employees that has eased the studies for students or has worked on strengthening the student voice. This year the honorary prize is awarded AnnaMaria Persson at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences. Anna-Maria has through her hard work helped the student who study at or pass through the Centre for Mathematical Sciences. Through her several nominations, it is clear that she cares deeply for her students and always try to help them as much as possible. She might not have an easy task but the students can hardly notice that she has something other than helping them with their issues at her hands. The experience of studies is different for every student and if issues occur, they need a strong resource for support. Anna-Maria has been just that for her students, finding solutions without making the student feel like a burden and making each step of the education run a bit smoother.
