3D-dynamic geometry systems (3D-DGS) with graphical user interfaces can open up a wide range of creative activities for mathematics education. Within the seven fundamental mathematical capabilities 3D-DGS can become an essential part of teaching and learning mathematics with technology. They allow interactive exploration of mathematical concepts. Some examples will be given for their use for didactic presentations, visualization, synthetic geometry, 3D modelling, morphing and mapping, design, and analogization. This talk gives some impressions of 3D-DGS potentials.
