Application for Courses, Spring 2020

Due to the flexible structure of the programme, students must apply for the courses that they wish to study each semester. The application is done via (the Swedish version of Programme students are guaranteed admission to courses given by the Faculty of Science as long as the specific admission requirements are fulfilled and the application is submitted in time. 

The application deadline is 15 October 2019 for the upcoming spring semester. It is important that you submit your application in time! All courses will be closed for application after the deadline and may or may not be reopened for late applications before the start of the semester.

Information meetings

Two information meetings regarding course selection have been held:

  • Information meeting regarding exchange studies - Wednesday 2 October at 15:15-16:00 in the Hörmander Lecture Hall. The coordinators of exchange studies presented relevant exchange agreements and describe the application procedure.
  • Information meeting on course selection - Wednesday 9 October at 15:15-17:00 in the Hörmander Lecture Hall. Student counsellors presented the courses in mathematics, mathematical statistics, numerical analysis and some other relevant subjects outside the mathematical disciplines given in the spring semester of 2020. Courses Autumn 2019

The autumn semester 2019 starts on Monday 2 September and ends on Sunday 19 January 2020. No classes are scheduled during the winter holiday, that is from 21 December 2019 to 6 January 2020.

Course websites for all courses in mathematics and numerical analysis at the faculty of Science are available in the new learning platform Canvas. The previously used learning platform live@lund will no longer be available from the autumn semester 2019.
